I am writing to express my dissatisfaction of the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities at the Brisbane branch. I have been a customer for over 5 years and I have noticed the standards of cleanliness have dropped dramtically over past several months.
I would like to highlight some issues of cleanliness first. For example, the pool always has plasters floating around and often I can sport 4 or 5 in a session. I know you can not stop other customers using plasters however maybe increasing the amount of times it is cleaned could solve this issue. Furthermore, the changing rooms, for the gym and the pool, are often dirty. An example of this is in the cubicles of the changing room there is often piles of dirt on the seats which make it impossible to sit down to get changed.
I would also like to bring to your attention the issues of the gym equipment constantly being broken. I am a regular at the gym and it often takes 3-8 weeks to get a piece of equipment fixed. I am aware that the gym will source outside professionals to fix the equipment however I am paying $150 a month to use the facilities.
In order to solve the problem, I believe increasing the cleaning schedule of the facilities would be a quick fix. In terms of the maintence on the gym equipment I would suggest having two of each machine so there isnt such dissapointment when one is out of use for an extended period of time.
