Dear Manager,
I am writing this letter to express my feelings related to organise a farewell party for Mr. Shyam, who is leaving the firm next week. I just planned everything but due to my mother’s serious illness. I am unable to organise the party, because she has a stone surgery next week.
Well, as I planned, it’s a surprise party. But in my absence it will definitely impact the plans because nobody knows about it. So, it’s a little bit difficult for someone to celebrate this at my basis, because company has its own policies to give farewell parties for its employees.
Could you please help to do an alternative solution? For example, just handover a bouquet to him after giving a appreciation speech for his efforts for the company and for his better future. Moreover, he loves dancing. So, it could be possible that firm will again a open dance for all employees. I am very thankful to you if you consider my suggestions.
Yours sincerely,
Aman
