Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to beg my pardon for not able to attend the job interview that was scheduled on 22nd May 2026 at 3 pm.

I was extremely excited for this moment, however, on the way I was met with an forseen road accident. When I was just 5 minutes away from your office, while waiting for the lights to turn green on an intersection, I was struck by a truck from behind. I was very disheartened to see that my car had severe damages and also because I knew that it would lead me to miss the interview as well.

I want to apologise for any inconvenience that I might have caused you and would love to reschedule my interview for later this week. I know you may already have a selection of candidates in your bucket list, but, I urge you to give me a chance to showcase my skills and experience. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours Faithfully,

Amit Randhawa
