I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my interest in the opportunity to work at our company’s head office abroad for a period of six months. This experience will not only allow me to gain valuable insight into the operations at the head office, but also contribute to my professional development.

During my absence, I propose that my responsibilities could be divided among the existing team members, with specific tasks being delegated to individuals best suited to handle them.
