Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to see if I can ask you to relocate me to our company’s head office in London for six months starting from June 2024.
Last year, I graduated from English studies (MA diploma issued by the University of Wroclaw) and obtained a BA diploma in British law (issued by the University of Birmingham). Having solid theoretical preparation in the UK law system and a near-native command of English, I can gain valuable practical skills by working for half a year in our head office. My experience will contribute to the development of our office here in Poland since recently we have had many British expats in the city who are looking for legal support for their companies found in Poland.
During my absence, I am confident I can delegate my work to our new promising colleague, Joanna. She has been trained under my supervision and has proven to be a hard-working and responsible worker. Joanna has also confirmed her commitment to stay at work until the end of this year.
I hope you could ask the manager of the British office, Mary, during her visit to Wroclaw next week.
Sincerely,
Anna An
