Dear Mrs. Olivia Cavatio,
I hope you are doing well. The objective of writing this letter is to request you for reducing or changing my shift timings, as I have taken up a French language course during weekdays.
My current shift in the office starts at 10 AM and ends at 6 PM on the other hand the French language school has put me in slot of 6 to 8 pm, where I am supposed to reach at least half an hour before to prepare for the session. Anticipating the whole situation here, I believe I would not want to be late in the class on daily basis.
I would like to present two ideas to combat the issue, either you may reduce my working hours till 5 PM or you may also change my shift to 9 AM – 5 PM. In later option the office work would also not be impacted, and I would also not be affected financially.
My goal is to acquire TEF, A French proficiency certificate as soon as possible because I would be able to perform better at my client consultation profile. Which requires me to deal with our francophone delegates and do contractual work. Thus, my French certification is going to benefit you and me in long run. Kindly feel free to contact me for any questions.
Yours faithfully
Supriya
