Dear Sir,

I am writing to request a temporary reduction in my working hours to pursue part-time studies. I have recently enrolled in a business management course which academic commitments require additional time. Also, it requires me to undertake independent research for a scholarship application.

I would like to work from 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday to Friday, over the next six months to be able not only to meet all my assignments and deadlines efficiently but also enhance my skills at university. Moreover, it would be an opportunity to maintain a balance between work and study.

I am confident that my studies can enhance my expertise and knowledge, allowing me to contribute innovative ideas to projects and benefit the company. Furthermore, it would be a great way to complete my dissertation and represent the company at an event which is supposed to be held at the end of the semester.
