Dear Mr. John,

I hope this communique finds you well.

I am looking for an experienced French language tutor who is comfortable taking private lessons with school children. My friend Ms. Jane Smith recommended your name.

My son studies in the Sandalwood Public School and is taking French language course this semester. Although the school curriculum is helping him build solid foundation in the language, I believe it would really help him improve his command over French with the help of an experienced tutor such as yourself.

My son and I visit the Brampton Public Library – Springdale branch every Sunday. Would it be convenient for you to meet us there and share your experience teaching French to high school students? This will give you a chance to understand my son’s French needs and suggest some helpful resources for him to improve his language.
