Dear Sir,

I am writing with regard to the upcoming event at your bookshop that will include several talks from well-known people. As such, I would like to recommend someone for this event.

I would like to nominate Mr. Kore-eda for this event. Mr. Kore-eda runs a convenience store in the coastal town of bleh and he has been operating it since its origins in 1990! The store is somewhat of an attraction in itself with many people taking the trip to the meet the man and roam the aisles of his store.

Mr. Kore-eda has seen a myriad of lives come and go through his store and always has a collection of stories to tell each time I visit him. His storytelling abilities are utterly gripping and and the range of stories are second to none, much like your bookshop. I believe his personality and life story would compliment the event well.

He is able to relate to his audience since the stories he tells stem from the day-to-day lives of his customers, which I believe would surely attract more people to the event, regardless if they are interested in books or not.
