I am writing this to seek your support regarding the issues caused by the dogs next door. Firstly, let me introduce myself. I’m Jin, a tenant of unit 35 in the Rainbow Street Tower. As mentioned earlier, there are disturbances caused by the pets of my neighbor who lives in unit 37. I believe she recently adopted puppies. One of the main problems is that they intermittently bark all day, and sometimes scratch the door. This significantly impacts me, who is pursuing my higher degree. As a result, I have difficulty concentrating on my school work, even though I use earplugs to minimise the noise. Moreover, unit 36 residents who have toddlers also complained to me the other day that their baby often wakes up due to the dogs. Since this impacts several residents in the building, I would appreciate it if you could look into this issue to minimise the noise from our neighbour’s dogs. I totally understand that pets can cause some noise, so I do not expect them to be silent, however, you might be able to raise this issue with the resident of unit 37, and discuss the viable options to mitigate these disturbances.
