Dear Mr. White,

I am writing this letter to apologise for the noise coming from my house. I received your letter for the complain of this matter.

Since the last three years, I was thinking to repair my house due to requirement of new paint on it and replacement of entire wooden floor. As you know that I was in canada for my work and there was no one to took care of my house. Due to the fact, I decided to refurbish the entire structure of it. That is why you are getting this noise from the last two weeks.

I can understand your situation that it is difficult for anyone to bear this construction sound for a long time. But I assure you that the contractor will finish all pending work in the end of this month. I apologise for the inconvenience. Do you think that it is possible for you to shut down you windows for few days? So that you can have relaxation from the ongoing loud activities.

In the reponse of your complain, I will tell the workers to put sound absorbing materieal on the walls, and keep the volume low as much as they can.

I hope you will accept my sincere apologise for any inconvenience caused.
