As driving owned vehicle takes lesser time to arrive at destination. For example, the bus routes take longer to reach at a location due to the multiple stops but, travelling on your own takes you directly to the desired location. Secondly, it is more convenient as individuals are not dependent on the timing of other person.
Whereas, the public transportation is pocket friendly. It has different monthly and annually passes available which can cost half of the price than personal car, which also has plans and schemes for the senior citizen and children. Moreover, It has many benefit on environment as increased amount of private transportation has significant effect on quality of air which is affecting health and rising the global warming. For example, China is a country where population still prefer to use public vehicles or mode of walking and cycling which has impacted positively on their physical health and mental wellbeing. In addition, this way of commute requires less efforts and is more safe in compare to road driven car as sometimes their reckless driving can lead to more accidents which is observed in news papers and on the other side we have a licansed, experienced person riding the government vehicles.
