Yet despite all the good innovations that are made, there are some major controversies regarding the uses of technologies and how it created a massive problem in our society.
Firstly, scientists have made a lot of practical inventions in the last few decades. Hearing aid is one of the most important inventions ever created for people that have disabilities or due to old age. With the help of the innovations, it helps people that are in tp be able to contribute day to day life. Secondly, the creation of wifi. It is for certain that the creation of wifi helps almost everyone on this planet. It creates jobs, entertainment, and even news coverage. Without the creation of the internet, the world would not be as progress as it is now. Lastly, the innovation of electric cars. Not only did it help to reduce the carbon emissions, it also helps to reduce the use of fossil fuels and in exchange, uses electricity instead.
While it is true that technologies serve as a purpose to help living beings, there are other factors we have to consider regarding the uses of some of the creations. Such as the internet. It has indirectly caused us to be more dependent on it. Thus leading to social problems that could be fatal. Normal interactions from day to day life no longer happens because we simply chose the internet more than trying to connect with people around us. In addition to that, some inventions also create massive environmental problems. Such as chemical wastes, pollution and deforestation are created solely due to human innovations. What once was used as a tool to help, now is being exploited and leads to our earth to become more inhabitable.
I believe that despite all circumstances, we can’t deny that technology has both positive and negative influence on many living beings. Whether it means that it could accommodate us into a better life or create new problems that are due to new inventions. Therefore, we as a society have to take into consideration the positive aspects of the technology while lessening the negative aspects through careful consideration and limited usages. With the help of that, we can ensure that the creations that are made are safe for our environment while also being useful.
