Many people think that in the coming centuries, ecological issues will tell us that we can not longer live on Earth. To continue living on this planet, human civilization must figure out other planets that humans can live on. This essay will discuss why i disagree with the idea due to biological reasons and obligations in science.
Humans are just type of animals. We are seeing us from a god perspective and for that reason, we have to remember what we are first. This planet is having problems since its occure and it is not a surprise to have human made problems. The human civilization nearly became extinct at some events like ice age and i believe that modern enviromental problems, such as global warming, are just part of natures cycle. We do not need to find another planet in response to survive, we just have to protect our planet. Moving somewhere in the galaxy is not a solution, we just have to stop releasing carbon dioxide to our atmosphere and solve the overpopulation problem. By doing that, we do not need to find somewhere
The other major problem in finding another problem is limitations in science. We do not know much about space and we do not have solutions to travelling in space. For instance, still we could not find any ways to get over speed of light. We are reaching the Sun from earth in 8 minutes with speed of light, and with the same speed, we can reach the Proxima Centauri B, the closest planet which could have life in it,in 6.600 years. Still, science is developing and it seem that it will be too impossible to go other planets in the near future
In conclusion, humans are just part of natural selection and enviromental problems are just part of the natures cycle. We have to protect our nature before trying to find another. On the other hand, it is nearly impossible to go further in the space in the near future and preserving our planet must be our first priority.
