People are divided on the issue of whether adults should work for free. In this essay, I intend to discuss both viewpoints. In my opinion, they should not work without compensation.
There are many reasons why I, along with others, believe that adults should receive a salary for their work. To begin with, they will be more motivated and able to perform their jobs effectively if they are compensated for their efforts. Secondly, given that they are working at their age, not being paid can lead to some health problems. Furthermore, having insurance is a responsibility that comes with their employment. Additionally, it is a fact that in this world, everyone works with the expectation of receiving something in return.
On the other hand, those who believe that adults should work voluntarily argue that the focus should be on younger workers, as they represent the future of the workforce. They suggest that if adults were to start receiving salaries again, it would negatively affect younger employees. For instance, consider a company that earns almost 10,000 rupees per month. If this company decides to allocate 4,000 rupees to pay employees, that money must be divided between newcomers and older adults, which seems unfair since adults have already contributed significantly.
In conclusion, this essay has discussed both viewpoints in detail. While there are some benefits to not paying adults, I firmly believe that they should be compensated for their work.
