Some people argue that advertisements have a positive impact on the economy, while others claim that it makes the public unsatisfied and encourages individuals to buy more products. In my opinion, even though advertising has many benefits for the economy, it also has significant drawbacks for consumers.
On one hand, advertisements are a major income of the economy. This is because people watch a wide range of colorful ads, which encourages them to purchase more products or items that they already have. For example, the public pay more attention on colorful and big-sized advertisements that trigger people’s emotions. As a result, individuals buy what they see on billboards despite the price. Secondly, advertising is widespread around the world, which is one of the main benefit for the countries’ economy. Apps such as Amazon or Alibaba are popular for people from all over the world because they provide easy access to buy a wide range of products. Ultimately, people may pick different items easily and order them.
On the other hand, people claim that it has negative impact on people’s spending habits and their feelings. Individual’s purchases are affected by ads that they see on the internet or social media. Many of these people buy unnecessary products from advertisements, relying on its colorful and unconventional picture, even though they already have that product. As a result, it leads to waste of money that makes them dissatisfied, which may cause financial pressure.
In my opinion, while advertising does pose challenges for consumers, it also presents economic benefits for many businesses. It is crucial for people to take control of themselves by limiting their monthly spending.
In conclusion, advertising is a complex issue with varying impacts on society, while for the economy it is a major source of its revenue. I believe that if people take some strict measures on themselves and learn to control their budget, it may prevent them from facing financial pressure and a sense of dissatisfaction.
