In this day and age, the air quality becoming worse is one of the biggest challenges that the world need to deal with. In this essay, I wil discuss several reasons and solutions to this issue.
Air pollution can be created by two main causes. The first one is exhaust fume, which is released from vehicle to the atmosphere. For example, in some recent years, there is a significant increase in the volume of traffic, so the amount of toxic gasses, such as carbon dioxide, emitted from transports also rise dramatically. This causes the atmosphere to become polluted. Another reason is that the treatment of emissions has not been carefully. For instance, some thermal power plants and factories discharge directly untreated gasses, which contain a plenty of harmful fume including nitrogen oxides, into the air.
To cope with this problem, the government can follow several approaches. First, the authorities can organize some campaigns to raise people’ awareness of the negative effects of air pollution. To illustate, the local government can educate their local residents that living in a polluted air and absorbing exhausted fumes can lead to the respiratory risks, such as lung cancer. Secondly, encouraging individuals to public transports, like trams, or busses, instead of private vehicle is also a good way to reduce the amount of wate air released into the atmosphere. Thanks to the combination of two solutions, the overal air quality can be improved.
In conclusion, vehicle emissions and careless waste air treatment can link to air pollution. However, the government can solve this problem by setting up some campaigns to enhance people’ consciousness of the impacts of polluted air and fostering them to use public transports to replace the private ones.
