Father plays a crucial role in upbringing stability of his children and supporting mother’s mental health, which leads to having a close knit family. In my view, they should get extra days off when they get babies.
Husband has an essential contribution to wife’s mental state. Once children are born, they need caring all time. In other words, motherhood is a full-time job, which requires support from family members, in particular the father. The first days of infancy stage is harsh, as parents stay wake up for many days because of an infant crying or her pain. Fathers should Get time off to let her sleep and take a rest. According to studies, a family where both parents share the responsibility of their infants are more likely to be attached than those who do not. In contrast, if there is no help by fathers, womens feel depressed and frustrated due to the lack of sleeping.
Additionally, father’s role is a considerable factor of providing a stable environment for a child. When a child grow in a family where parents making decisions together and sharing the parenthood responsibilities, a significant development of child’s mentality happens. Toddlers’ mentality develop under father’s guidance, for example sense of belonging, being accepted, and identifying his/her identity when they grow in a well-being family. As a result, their confidence increases, which limits their perspectives to be affected by others.
In conclusion, although the parental state is an instinct behavior, behaving as a supporter is a choice. That is why, fathers should take days off in the infancy stage to share responsibilities, which enhances the relationship between parents and their toddler’s feelings of being beloved. I believe that, parents should be active participation in their families, as they participate in improving their families mentality.
