Nowadays most people argue advertising should be banned because they think it gives inaccurate information and can be very harmful for consumers. I think they are true, because it has really bad effect on society.
On the one hand if government bans advertisements, it may harm the economy as it significantly benefits. For instance, businesses can promote their goods and can gather more customers by advertising them. Additionally, it has beneficial effects for general public. For example, advertising provides a wealth of information that any other guidance leaflets cannot.
On the other hand, advertising also has some drawbacks. For example, to sell more products some advertising companies gives unreliable and misleading information. As a result customers may buy things that are unhealthy and unnecessary. However this does not mean that government should ban all advertising campaigns. But instead they should impose a tax or introduce stricter rules against them.
In conclusion, I completely disagree with banning all advertising. Although, there may be some disadvantages, as it has more benefits also. Instead of banning them, government should regulate them strictly
