The majority of people favor surgical procedures that might improve their appearance as per their expectations. In my opinion, while every situation has a beneficial and adverse effect, cosmetic surgery should not be a preference as it does not make people appreciate their natural features and several surgeries can go incorrect in the process.
Although numerous people try to be more confident in their natural surface, there are always distractions from the advertisement, pointing out flaws and insecurities of the audience in many ways to promote and increase their product sales. As these products don’t usually work on every skin type, many believe surgical operations are the only fair means to get a charming appearance instantly. Korea is known worldwide for its dermatological surgeries, where thousands of people ranging from the age of 18 to 50 years old get their appearances changed in a day.
Surgical procedures such as nose job, lip fillers, face and cheek lifting, and a plethora of other forms of treatments use a variety of injections that include Botox and fillers to make the face look younger and firmer. While all these treatments turn out great under the expert’s supervision, there is always a possibility of mistake or excess use of chemicals injected into the skin which can make or break the entire face. Well-known celebrities who go under the knife or get injections to maintain a younger status, regret getting it done in the first place.
In conclusion, Cosmetic surgery can have major levels of adverse impact on an individual which are led by the beauty industry lowering one’s self-confidence in their skin and unsatisfactory medical procedures.
