Space touring is going to become one of the options for vacations in the coming years for people planning their holidays. With the opportunity for space tourism, people could explore new space related things apart from just visiting beaches or some pool side resorts during their normal holidays. There could be some drawbacks to this as well because, not everybody could afford the space tour due to the increased age limitations and expenses.
As people start travelling to the space, they can relate and understand better about different aspects of space like how space crafts were launched. It would them a sense of the environment change like gravity. For instance, if i would travel to the space, i would start relating to different articles i read about space and experience the same during my tour, which would make me feel complete. I think this way, people can enjoy to the fullest. The bridge between knowing and experiencing would be wholesome.
On the other hand, space tourism might come with some disadvantages. There would be rules and restrictions for individuals based on age groups. For example, infants and old age people might be restricted, as there are a lot of health risks involved, due to gravity and most importantly, oxygen supplies will be limited. Another drawback could be huge expenses. As more and more people plan for their tour, the government will have to make facilities for travel and safety like oxygen cylinders, survival kits and this would come with a cost. A common man might find it expensive to afford and hence might drop the plan.
In my opinion, space tourism is a boon and should be encouraged among group of people as it could life time experience. Everybody must visit space at least once in their life.
