In this hectic pace of life, it is believed that people’s natural ability and guidance of teachers play a significant role in being good at math. Personally, I completely disagree with this opinion because receiving someone’s teaching or being a talented person is useless unless they work hard.
On the one hand, teachers’ guidance as well as talent are great of importance in some respects. In my point of view, everyone need a teacher in order to guide them to the right way so that they can achieve higher accomplishments at math. If there are not any teachers to teach some techniques, people will waste their precious time in searching working methods. As a result, being excellent at math may take much time, and at the same time, they may get some mental breakdowns. Furthermore, being gifted has a significant contribution to ease the math process. Consequently, people do not have to make a lot of mental efforts to solve complex mathematical calculations.
On the other hand, people ought to work on their own without any guidance. If someone teach them how to tackle the math problems with their different methods, there will be a high probability for people to rely on other figures in the way of being good at math. As a consequence, it can make people lazy to enhance their level of knowledge. In contrast, one of the most effective ways to perform well at math is learning by mistakes that the vast majority of people expect to be corrected by others. If people correct their mistakes themselves, it can pave the way to comprehend more about math.
By way of conclusion, despite the presence of potential benefits of talent and receiving teaching from someone, I do support the idea that working hard without any guidance and talent is by far a better option in being good at math.
