On the one hand, investing in community projects offers several benefits to enterprises. First of all, infrastructure construction for sports and society is a good way to improve public image in each company, and can even be a media strategy to attract more customers to purchase their products. For example, Vingroup, which is one of the most famous corporations in Vietnam, had a program to build and renovate 100 schools for poor children in rural areas and islands. This plan not only decreases illiterate kids, but also makes more people know about this group. Furthermore, the building of sports and social facilities helps employees improve their mental health. That is to say, participating in social projects leads to reducing stress and increasing job satisfaction for workers, who have to deal with many tasks for a long time. The key rationale behind this is that they can explore new destinations and directly give some gifts to local residents, which helps them be more serene and comfortable. Therefore, creating chances for employers to join in charity lays the foundation for increasing work quality.
On the other hand, not only businesses, but also states need to take action in improving residents’ lives. To begin with, authorities have more experience in financial capability. In other words, the government allocates finances better to building physical infrastructure. The main reason is that they have a deep understanding of the unique needs of each location, as local demands vary from place to place. Secondly, the investment in facilities by governments can improve the overall economy of a country. In particular, if businesses only focus on big cities due to profits, the government has the responsibility to develop infrastructure in both rural and urban areas to reduce the gap between rich and poor. Consequently, all kinds of residents can improve their life, which fosters a developed society and economy.
In conclusion, while providing sports and social facilities help companies be more popular and take care of workers well, the benefits for governments are decreasing the gap between rich and poor. Both of them are key factors to develop resident life, leading to improvement in each region.
