While naysayers view this modern occurrence as primarily a negative development, I would argue that, even with its demerits, this strategy is, overall, beneficial, helping businesses to differentiate and entice new clients, thereby expanding the scope for development.
To start with, a multitude of people are becoming wary of believing in advertisements. Having observed millions of exaggerated commercials, they tend to resist them, which, firstly, leads to a decline in client base and, subsequently, to business bankruptcy. Yet, while the strategy of boasting about novelty may work for the first time and be lucrative, it also has its own long-range effects, which are not essentially advantageous. Once customers realize the product is not as advanced as advertised, entrepreneurs risk significant losses. Not only does their reputation suffer, but also they face greater competition, providing rivalrous companies with consumers to capture.
On the other hand, whereas it is a poor policy to promise more than one can do, promoting production of real worth appears to be striking in shaping a business image. Firstly, companies’ schemes to present innovation integrated into manufacturing, or noticeable changes it is capable of making, allow them to gain profit from the sense of emphasized novelty, which is a driving force in drawing custom. Secondly, contemporary issues are addressed by contemporary solutions, and that is what displaying the means of dealing with everyday tasks in a modified manner with least effort has been encouraging humanity to do. Thirdly, this approach urges industry elaboration, forcing other manufacturers to adapt to competitive conditions and generate no less progressive output. It results not only in gains in production but also in consumers being provided with access to higher-quality goods.
To conclude, despite some adverse shortcomings, the use of showcasing products in extraordinarily advanced ways is a positive development that embodies a plethora of advantages depending on the implementation.
