The usage of cars has greatly increased since last century as it’s a comfortable source of transportation. But it also rises many issues such as traffic and air pollution. This essay will particularly focus on these problems and there solution such as public transport etc.

It’s true that cars are the fastest mode of transportation so many families have more than one car for their comforts. This led to virulent situation especially in urban areas where cars are stuck in traffic for hours . For instance, in 2018 longest traffic jam in China is recorded which remained for almost nine days. Furthermore, cars are one of the main causes in decreasing air quality. Harmful gases releasing from vehicles exhaust such as lead is the cause of many diseases like asthma and other breathing diseases.

In spite of this government should take important steps like improving public transport by constructing underground railways like London or opening metros or high-speed trains as in Japan. In the same vein free the public transport can also solve this problem. Moreover, people should also take steps to tackle down this issue. Taking this into account individuals should use bicycle for short routes instead of motorcars. In addition bicycles also have many health benefits such it helps maintain person cholesterol level. For example, in many European cities about 60% of peoples use bicycles. Subsequently their air pollution rate is also negligeable.

In conclusion, vehicle is significant but problems created by them are very dangerous. In the current era avoiding motorcar as much as possible is the only solution to overcome these issues. And to improve our environment as well as our health
