In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, the youth becomes less and less physically active. So, it is believed that many physical lessons must be mandatory in education. Personally, I completely agree with this statement, I will explain my own view.
To start with, incorporating physical education into the school curriculum can greatly contribute to the holistic development of students. In addition to academic subjects such as natural and social science, it is crucial for students to engage in physical exercise. This not only enhances their knowledge, but also promotes their overall well-being. For example, through physical education, students will develop high discipline, sense of responsibility, know how to make efforts. This can help them become more positive and proactive individuals.
Moreover, the inclusion of physical education in the school curriculum can instill a positive habit of regular physical activity among students. For instance, by incorporating physical education into their daily routine, students can develop healthy habits that will benefit them in the long run. Finally, sport lessons are a great way for students to unwind and distress. Physical education can be seen as a break that let the student relax their minds. By way of illustration, learning social or natural sciences subjects can lead to students’ stress and exhaustion, so it is essential to have a sport training lesson
To summarize, physical education offers a multitude of benefits. Specifically, it aids in the holistic development of students, promotes positive habits, and provides a means of relaxation. Therefore, I strongly believe that sports lessons should be mandatory in education curriculum.
