Colour is arguably one of the easiest things that can affect personal emotions. As we grow up , we develop preferences for colour and these are illustrated in decoration of our homes, through the products we buy and the clothes we wear.As colour plays a crucial role in our lives.it is is inevitable that it will also affect how we purchase something or people usually make a decisions that are much more based on colour when we buy something
Actually, business and retail companies have been aware of the impact of colour on how people decide to buy .The general view has been that if a shop or a product that has too many colours on a product it can easily attract children to buy but for an adult it would be a bad choice. You will find up finding it hard to concentrate and make a decision.Customers also can be too taken up with the colour around them to focus on what they want to buy.
Interestingly, when it come to dark and pastel colours they make a contrast. For example, adults and old people often say that pastel colours make them feel cozy and want to purchase something,if a shop or a product was painted in pastel blue colour it could change people mood to a positive one.People commented that they felt more reliant on the company and want to buy the product when they decorated the environment like that.
As far as I am concerned, there is a direct link between colour and what we buy. This means that companies should think about what type of customers they want to attract and decorate their room in such a way that companies and manufacturers are able to sell the product in an efficiency way
