The choice between the new chairs or R&D certainly presents a complex scenario. I opine that at this moment comfortable chairs are prerequisite.
To advocate my opinion, the chairs that we are using currently are not only uncomfortable but also some of them are broken. These chairs are over a decade old which is the core reason why employees want new ones. Although spending money on the research and development department is an important matter, new chairs are more essential for a better workplace environment. I observed that many of our associates are suffering from back pain and spinal pain due to these chairs; moreover, it is a top priority of management to value their employees.
Conspicuously, our organization has already invested tons of funds in R&D recently. Furthermore, I read an article that says ‘ many workers are developing “lumbago” which is a severe pain in the spine. Considering the cause, better sitting facilities are optimal for our institution.
Based on aforementioned reasoning, I affirm that every employee is entitled for an advance and ergonomic chairs. I appreciate the opportunity to provide my input in this survey.
