Some believe that competition feeling should be taught to children while others say being cooperative should be encouraged more. This essay will be about why children should learn to be competitive people with relevant examples.
One primary reason for that is competitions are all over the world and there is almost nothing without competition. It is even in schools, works, supermarkets… Furthermore, if you lose one competition, it will affect your other competitions. For example, if children are avoiding competitions in school it will get harder for them to involve another in their working life. To avoid this situation, the most effective people in our lives are our parents since they have more life experiences. In other words, children should be taught to be competitive by their parents in order to be successful in their lives.
It is also true that cooperative working is important, but competitions are more important. Many experts with studies claimed that people can learn how to be cooperative at any age unlike being competitive. Since the sense of cooperation develops with people who are surrounding us, we can learn it as long as we have somebody on our side. Cooperations are just mean people helping each other for some goals. It is temporary and we don’t need it unlike how we need the sense of competition.
To sum up, due to examples and facts, parents should encourage their kids to be competitive since they need it in their lives more than a feeling of cooperation.
