It is argued that fulfilling third-level education is the best way to get a good carrier ,meanwhile the other people think that gaining practical knowledge and improving soft skills is more dominant . Although now on days completing tertiary education is crucial to get a good job , but I believe that getting experience and developing soft skills is the main key for it.
when someone wants to know about you ,they judge you by your achievements ,so in a job interview having a completed tertiary education becomes more beneficial to gain a good carrier. As an example , high ranking construction company in Sri Lanka categorized the applicants in a job interview, they gave the first priority to the university graduates.
others say that before getting a good job , gaining practical knowledge and developing soft skills such as controlling emotions, empathy ,discipline and etc are crucial, that’s what makes you deserve it most.I can get my uncle as a role model ,when he was interviewed by a company in Canada he got qualified for the job because he had job related experience more than others did.
In conclusion ,only having theoretical knowledge is not enough to get a good job. You have to apply your knowledge to your work and gain experience and develop soft skills.
