Band 5+: Cricket has become more popular than national sports in many subcontinental countries. What do you think are the reasons behind this? Is there any negative effects of this

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In this contemporary era, sports have become immensely popular among our communities. Nowadays, cricket has become superbly more famous than that of the other national games such as volleyball, basketball, and so forth in ample subcontinental nations. Now, I am going to illustrate plausible reasonings behind it in an upcoming essay with appropriate instances along with a logical conclusion.

To begin with, there are numerous causes behind it. At first glance, nowadays, there are many championships leagues organized by the entire nation that make our citizens excited about just watching it. Moreover, if one person has talent and hard work for these sports, then this person can easily gain successes and earn handsome amounts of money. For a lead, leagues such as IPL, BBL, ICC tournaments, and so forth are organized by the BCCI, which eventually has a huge effect on why this sport is so popular. Because in every match there is too much excitement and players efforts for their national team, this sport i very popular.

Although it has many positive effects on society, there are some adverse effects. In many nations, citizens are only focused on cricket, and due to that, it has adverse effects on our other sports. Nowadays, many games have become less popular, like volleyball, football, and so forth.

In conclusion, after taking the aforementioned points into consideration from my own perspective, I am inclined to believe that the merits of sports can outweigh the demerit’s of them. It is the best career for sports lover person to pursue and earn name and fame globally.

To begin with, I am unconvinced that grades can completely encapsulate an individual’s true capabilities. There are many other critical abilities that cannot be precisely quantified through traditional exams, such as creativity, communication, […]
