Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays many children are pressured by their parents to achieve high standards. In my opinion, this often happens because parents want their children to succeed where they themselves may have failed in the past. I believe this a largely negative development, an excessive pressure cab cause severe stress and overwhelmed children at an early age.

The main reason parents put a lot of pressure on their children is they may faced failure on their past such as failure in university or maybe they can not achieve their goal. For instance, people who haa their own dream but they mighy be struggled to achieve it. As a result, the last choice to achieve their dream is by hoping through their children. Thats why most of parents forced their children to achieve what they actually want.

However, this parenting will lead to a negative development due to children that might be overwhelmed or burn out. For example, children that has a limited ability to reach parents dreams is mostly getting severe stress and can not control their emotion. Consequently, forcing children to achieve high standards especially at school can cause stress.

In conclusion, parents who forcing their children to be succeed without knowing limits this will lead to severe stress and leat to a negative development.
