The neighborhood surrounding my school is a lively and diverse area filled with a mix of residential buildings, small businesses, and public spaces. The streets are always bustling with students, shopkeepers, and residents going about their daily routines. There are several convenience stores, stationery shops, and food stalls that cater to students, making it easy to grab a quick snack or purchase school supplies.
One of the things I like most about my school’s neighborhood is the variety of food options available. There are street vendors selling delicious local snacks, such as fuchka and chotpoti, which are affordable and popular among students. Additionally, the area has several parks and open spaces where students can relax after school or spend time with friends.
However, there are also some aspects of the neighborhood that I like the least. The streets can be quite crowded, especially during school hours, leading to heavy traffic and noise pollution. At times, the sidewalks are blocked by street vendors, making it difficult for pedestrians to walk freely. Another issue is littering, as some people do not dispose of their trash properly, affecting the cleanliness of the area.
Overall, the neighborhood around my school is a vibrant and convenient place with many advantages, but it also has challenges that could be improved with better organization and cleanliness.
