The defence forces play a crucial role not only in protecting the national but also in contributing to the development of the country In Thailand, the armed forces have been involvement in various missions that supports national growth.This essay will discuss how the military supports the country’s development from different perspectives within Thai context.

In order to achieve effective development, it is impossible to have effective foundational systems such as education, healthcare and economy without national security and stability, during times of peace. One of the major roles is that to maintain security national defence during times of crises. this encourages both foreign and domestic investors in basis fundamental systems.For example, building hospitals or schools in the local communities allows people from poor families can access facilities in a low cost.

Additionally, investments in defence forces also contribute to higher employment. For instance, in The Royal Thai Air Force some components of AT-6 aircraft are assembled and produced domestically by Thai personnel, while the technology is tranfered form national producers. This leads to promote sustainable development of industries defence forces and increase workers onto job markets.

In conclusion, the military not only plays role in term of defence forces such as protecting nation but also contributes to basis fundamental systems such as education and technology. Therefore all of these affect significantly to stability and sustainability developments.
