Some people believe that children need to learn additional languages when they are younger at school, while others think it is good to start learning when they grow up. While there are serious negative consequences of this learning at primary schools, I would argue that these are outweighed by the advantage.
On the one hand, these are some aspects of learning foreign languages. Principally the studying other language at secondary school can cause for concern. In terms of secondary school, when students transition to high school, they quickly give up in the first way and faced with burnout. For secondary school’s include complicated subjects, such as physics, maths, biology and chemistry. Thus, it will be difficult combining two important studies at high school. In terms of primary school, younger pupils might have trouble since they are now growing up. Moreover, they can struggle to study additional languages and their brain do not work as the adults, and may suffer from from linguistic confusion as they do not learn their own language literacy skills yet.
On the other hand, despite such graves, these are not insurmountable and students at primary school may quickly learn foreign languages as they do not have much responsibilities than pupils who study at secondary school. Firstly, they are flexible for everything, while learning other languages they can enhance their studying abilities like communication and cognitive skills. Secondly, when students learn additional languages at the start of the primary school they may be able to speak a lot of languages and being bilingualism.
In conclusion, I believe that the advantages of learning international languages at primary school is greater than drawbacks, serious though these are.
