In many countries, tourism can have both positive and negative impacts. This essay will explore why and how travelers can affect the country. Consequently, repercussions are seen on the environment.
In the first place, we will have a small talk about pollution. Nowadays, the planet is slowly but surely dying. Because of this, the ozone layer is damaged. It is being damaged due to human negligence, such as exhaust fumes, a lot of garbage, etc. Therefore, with people comes pollution. In most countries, there are many people, and with tourism, the quantity of people is becoming bigger and bigger. Governments cannot cope with their country if the number of people in their territories doubles due to tourists. Clearly, they will not have time to clean the streets as always. For instance, I am a big fan of Spain because of the beautiful landscapes, warm climate, and very polite people. That is why I go there very often, and I can see that on vacation days the streets are very dirty with garbage that people threw away. Undoubtedly, visitors have positive impacts. More people use services such as banks and museums. In this regard, they receive more money, which is good for their economy.
To summarize, tourism is good for countries, but tourists are not always good. If we take into account the specifics of each environment.
