There is a debate about whether success of a country should be measured by economic growth or there are any other factors. While many argue that economic prosperity is an only aspect which represents the country’s success, I believe that there are many other indicators that matter.
Those who advocate economic progress as the primary feature of successful country argue that financial circumstances of government should not determine the quality of public services. When financial outcome are raised, government are more likely to support public amenities through investing on hospitals, educational and employment prospects. This can improve residential well-being, extends access to essential public services and allows individuals to obtain quality education and find employment, which promotes their social mobility and advances living standards. For instance, when government translate economic growth into tangible benefits as it was stated earlier, consequently it will contribute to sustainable developments, which will enhance people’s living prospects and government efficiency.
Conversely, proponents argue that the healthcare and education are complimentary indicators which contribute to success of country. The advancement in healthcare services and education institutions will considerably benefits residents as it provides affordable treatment services and high-quality education. Furthermore, the further benefits of these developments are substantial, as many people will experience positive outcomes. For instance, the availability of treatment services will reduce the illnesses and will considerably improve public well-being, whereas the access for high standard education will promote further professional growth, which may justify income inequality and develop individuals aspects of life. This means that, the increase in number of healthy and educated residents will boost workforce participation, which drives economic development by making country successful.
In conclusion, although many people argue that the economic growth the only aspect of successful country because of financial contribution which may invest in public services to benefit residents, I firmly believe that the prospects such as healthcare and education are also plays a huge role in countries progress.
