Band 4+: Elderly people should spend more time on cultural activities such as music and theatre and less time on physical activities such as sport. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Some old people give minor time to sport and physical activities and like to spend more time in cultural activities like music, drama, and theatre and i totally disagree with this statement.

Firstly i like to speak about sport is a great way to improve your health, with a bigger effect on physical activity compared to music or theater because sport take place a great role in our life if old people spend time in physical activities they feel better all day and become energetic and do work with great flow. Some people do sport in twice a day but i recommend for elder people to do this activity in single time a day. For example do some exercise in morning and play some indoor or outdoor activity in evening so, i think it is a great schedule for elder people.

In contrast to cultural activities that mostly happen indoors, sport helps elderly people get outdoors and in touch with nature. I dont tell it bad to spend time in cultural activity because it also take great place to our daily life because spend some time in cultural activity like listen music, watch theatre make our mind fresh and give space to our body to feel easy. For example if old people only spend time to sports and dont give time to cultural activity they feel boared so if they update with cultural activity they feel comfortable and give space to mind to store some funny and memorable moments.

In my opinion elderly people try to spend more time in physical activities becasue at the age of ending sport help them to spend time in nature and make body strong to face difficulties of old age problems.
