While employees have to work continuously for many months, I support bosses giving employees a period of several months off to maintain their energy levels within the company. This approach warrants immediate and unqualified support for both moral and pragmatic reasons. It enables progress on various issues and lays a foundation for a just and sustainable future for all.
To begin with, employees must rest. This will help them increase their productivity and yield numerous benefits to the company. For instance, large companies in Vietnam, such as Vinfast and Viettel, often give employees 2 to 3 months off in a year and provide them with a certain amount of money during that time off. In other words, reducing the number of working days also helps the relationship between employees and bosses become more cordial and productive because, on those days off, the company can organize parties or trips so employees can understand each other’s personalities better.
Furthermore, companies can retain many quality and experienced employees, helping the company grow strongly in the market and have many opportunities to compete with larger companies. Moreover, employee breaks also create a healthy environment because employees will feel less pressured and more comfortable during their working hours, leading to more productive and enjoyable work experiences.
In conclusion, this essay provides a compelling case for agreeing with giving employees time off for several months at a high level with well-supported arguments. It is for these reasons, grounded in ethical and rational principles rather than speculative theories, that I firmly endorse and advocate for this view.
