Band 5+: Everyone should stay at school until 18. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In many countries school attendance is mandatory for children up to specific age. I agree with this notion that all should remain in school until the age of eighteen. In the following paragraph, I would discuss in detail.

To begin with, the most important reason for having school age 18 years because it is most impressionable age which has numerous changes in child lives. They have physical and hormonal changes going on consequently, they feel under a lot of pressure. If they stay in the school it will prevent them from pressure in lives. For example, in India child should go to institute until the age of 16 to 18 years. In USA the age is consider 14 years and now they are planning to extend 16 years.

Furthermore, education is necessary for their future development. If they are good educated then, they will make appropriate career in the interested field. Moreover, more education help them to find job and job satisfaction. Their economic potential for future and increases tax revenue. When they grow older they can do investment in home and other require things.

However, there are some students who have responsibility of their family due to the fact that they have to start earning from the early age to support them. If the age of the child lengthen then, the governments need more teachers, books and resources which is burden on the authorities. In addition, there are students who come from unstable family background or unwilling students then, they will become disruptive and affect other people.

In conclusion, I would like to say that every rose has weeds. Education is necessary for everyone till eighteen years. More lengthening of the periods can have harmful impact on resources and government which ultimately affect individuals lives.
