Band 5+: Experts says older people were happier and healthier in the past because they did more exercise and spent more time with family and friends, where as now suffer from loneliness and health problems. what are the cause of this and what are some solutions.

In contemporary society, a prevailing belief suggest that senior citizens enjoy better physical and emotional well-being in the past, as they were physical active and strong relationships with relatives. In contrast ,many individuals today experience isolation problems and health issues .This essay will delve into the causes behind this shift and propose potential solutions to mitigate these concerns.

One of the most significant obstacles is technology replacing social interaction is that technology has been devolved really fast have become easier than before. However, people spend a lot of using technological devices and less time going with their family and friends. As a result, elder adult struggle with feeling been left out. For instance, I remember that in the past, my dad used to take us every week to visit my grandparents. They were always so happy when we spent time with them. Another considerable concern is modern lifestyle ,the cities are becoming lager and people working more than the previous generation due to the fact they want more money. Thus they do not have a lot

of time for exercising or other healthy work. To illustrate, Some people stay in their office job for than 12 hours which causes back pain.

However, there are several solutions which may solve this concern, but Community support programs could be the most effective ones. Firstly, government should organize social event and activity for elderly in community centres or local clubs, as this helps feel more socially connected and improve their overall happiness. For instance, I watched a football match for old retired players in Barcelona stadium last year, the entrance was free for all retired workers living in Barcelona. Secondly, encourage physical activity, governments should produce safe walking path and organize some exercise classes specifically designed to meet elderly demands

To sum up, although it is commonly argued elder people feel isolation emotional ,I believe this can be solved if we involving them some exercises and some community events.
