It is often claimed that arts such as painting and literature can easily outweigh the importance of film. I totally disagree with this statement because the film industry can show what other types of arts are not capable of and be used as a tool for learning history.
First of all, films, as an art, are capable of showing what other types of art cannot do. For instance, let’s take family problems. Are paintings able to fully illustrate the importance of this problem so that people can easily realize it with their numerous colors and unusual patterns, or maybe films can do it by broadly demonstrating why family problems occur and also providing solutions through the real actions of actors and plots? The answer is, of course, film. It is because people can grasp new things or information while watching how other people are doing it, and films are the best type of art that can show them compared to other arts such as painting.
Moreover, the film industry can be imperative because of its knack for showing and explaining the general history of our planet. This is because films related to historical people, periods, and events make history more interesting and straightforward for people. As an illustration, almost 60 percent of the total high school students in the USA prefer to watch films about history in order to learn it rather than reading it from literature books since it is a more complicated way. Therefore, in this contemporary society, films are becoming a more crucial part of art.
In conclusion, I believe that film is an imperative part of art because it can demonstrate things that other arts cannot do and fully explain the history of people and the planet.
