The society argues that purchasing things is not just about buying what is essential. However, it is a form of entertainment. Buying is indeed fun, but overdoing it, even if it is good, can make purchases the opposite if one does.
In the technological century, people create things in a day or an hour, which is enough to increase demands daily. Unfortunately, advertisements easily attract people, which could lead to buying unnecessary things. A little time later, it seems useful when making a purchase. Additionally, brands such as Apple, Louis Vuitton, and Samsung are creating new gadgets, making the former products much inferior.
On the other hand, prices for shopping items can change over time, and it does not mean their salary will increase. In addition, people who spend a lot of money more than they can afford to buy can not satisfy their desire for their family needs and have problems with their shopping ability. Also, their shopping habit can be easily flattered as it does not require much effort, and the expenditure rate can rise because people try to buy newer and newer. For example, my uncle John was having trouble stopping when the new iPhone was released, and he spent half of his payment and had to live on a small amount of money.
In conclusion, having opportunities to buy things is good, but it is not said that people should purchase anything they desire or something new. It can affect not only their budgets but also may have side effects on their future shopping.
