Gv There is a discussion wether it is justifiable to introduce studying world news as another school subject for for kids of age 10 to 14. In my opinion such initiative although is able to contribute to tenagers education, to a certain extent, after a thorough consideration stays unnecessary.
To begin with a point supporting my position let us consider the modern educational system already has been stuffed with disciplines addressing the similar context, and having added one more to the plate of students whos academic schedule already is able to scare off a student of previous generations, seems to say least reduntant, or even excessive. Moreother, to introduce kids to modern society’s problems the person in charge of these lessons’ discussions should posess a strong set of counterconflict skills which, in case of underpaid job such as teacher’s is unlikely, to avoid deepening of problems every multicultural class has enough even without it.
That being said, i can not avoid mentioning several benefits might be taken from international tidings being discussed at school during classes. I would like to mention that if the teacher is properly qualified in order to do so many hidden arguments could be resolved before they grow up to fights or bullying there by smoothing the coollective’s atmosphere. Worthy of mentioning also is potentially broaden world’s picture: feelings of empathy and consideracy being brought up under proper supervision during the lessons.
Considering the above i’d like to point out that the current overload of students’ schedule and risk of worsening relationships of classmates which definitely could be avoided by the decent teacher’s qualification nontheless barely outweight those advantages of slightly updated world’s agenda, without even mentioning the its current controversialty and complexity.
