One of the main reasons of global warming is the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Nowadays, the number of factories is increasing day by day, and many countries depend on coal, oil, and gas for electricity production and transportation. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere and cause the Earth’s temperature to rise. To solve this problem, companies and transport should use air filters to reduce the poisonous gases released from them. Governments should also encourage people to utilize these kinds of filters.
The second issue in the list is deforestation, which changes the climate. The number of trees that can absorb carbon dioxide is reduced because they are cut down by farmers and logging companies to manufacture wooden construction materials. As a result of deforestation, more carbon dioxide remains in the atmosphere and contributes to global warming. The solution for this matter can be enforcing stricter laws against illegal logging and encouraging reforestation projects by governments.
Another cause for heating of the Earth’s temperature is the excessive use of plastic materials, such as bottles and plastic bags. Because plastic waste can harm ecosystems and takes hundreds of years to decompose. Moreover, burning plastic waste increases carbon emissions, which raises global temperatures. To address this issue, governments should promote the use of reusable products, reduce single-use plastics, and encourage recycling programs.
