These gases create a “greenhouse effect” trapping heat within the atmosphere and leading to rise in temperatures.Furthermore, another main ground for global warming is utilization of transportation. Most cars, lorries, ships and planes run on fossil fuels. That makes transportation a major contributor of greenhouse gases, especially carbon-dioxide emissions. Road vehicles account for the largest part, but emissions from ships and planes continue to grow.
The effects of global warming are equally complex and can be a mirror image of its root causes. Because, as the concentration of greenhouse effect increases it consequently results in adverse environmental impacts including melting polar ice caps, rising sea levels and erratic weather patterns. Moreover, as the temperature rises up obove the optimal level, the risk for drought and lack of rain or excessive rain will increase and consequently may result in natural disasters like flood,earthquake or hurricane.
