Enhancing structural development, like building new roads, is such a blessing for every nation. It has a sustainable and substantial effect on the whole communication system. Without building new roads, it is very challenging to establish smooth communication all over the country. In these following paragraphs, am going to describe why i disagree with this statement.
Firstly, new roads are always built to communicate and explore new places and their various aspects of the economy, society, culture and tourism etc. It will create a good range of job opportunities which help to promote the local economy. For example, a new road build in Satkania upazila from Dohajari to Dhopachori helps local people to bring their agricultural products to market easily. According to the survey, goods transportation costs also redacted by 35%, which supports them to achieve more profit.
Secondly, building new roads assists in plummeting the duration of a journey and traffic jams which make a journey more reliable and safe. For example, in Potiya, a city in Bangladesh, built a bypass road which reduced traffic jams and shortened the journey time by 30 minutes approximately.
Thirdly, constructing new roads is also a viable and sustainable solution for the country’s transportation system. It also increases the reputations and aesthetic value of a country. For example, Chittagong-Cox’s Bazaar extended highway is a symbol of beauty and it totally changed the scenario of roadside nature.
In conclusion, constructing new roads is very crucial for a sustainable commutation system. Improving public transportations is also a good solution, but it is not as reliable as building new roads. Though it is very costly to invest in building roads, it brings an immediate benefit from every point of view.
