Although seemingly idealistic and often couched as financially unviable and unrealistic futuristic utopian nonsense, the fact is, eco-friendly sustainable cities already exist (although minimally) throughout the world and have proven to produce many of the intended desirable benefits. The future is now, and yes, the development of new cities worldwide should prioritize such environmentally conscious and green infrastructure.
Regardless of profound wrongness of many doomsdayers spurious predictions of the soon-to-occur catastrophic world-ending annihilation of mankind due to man-made climate change, such pseudo-professors and otherwise brazen mentally retarded imbecilic anachronistic intellectuals (did you notice the huge world news last week that Bill Gates, the well-known two-decades long psychologically impaired environmentally wacko doomsdayer completely flipped on his former claims of world-climate doom and now says it is not nearly as bad as he previously espoused) should not prohibit a priority on building eco-friendly cities as they will both increase the quality of human life and reduce certain negative environmental impacts.
It should be obvious to most that eco-friendly green cities must evolve as a necessary component of a healthy, sustainable, and intelligent living norm for future generations with a greater emphasis on contemporary do-it-now construction and a corresponding more earnest immediate actuation. The multitude of benefits are well-documented. Unfortunately, and somewhat understandably, numerous obstacles are impeding a reasonable expansion (and hopeful one-day proliferation) of such cities. Barriers to restructure human thinking toward implementing eco-friendly cities as an intrinsic necessity include generally higher costs than traditional construction, local city governments ignorance in proper policy, technical expertise and regulation implementation, and inadequate public input and support.
In conclusion, the aforementioned obstacles, especially increased cost and reducing human ignorance in overall eco-friendly infrastructure viability and necessity must be overcome. Such cities are of primary importance for the present, especially the future, and should be prioritized.
