The scenario argued that achieving a great university degree ensures people a fine job. This essay disagrees that having higher degree guarantees a better job, because people networking are more prioritized. Other than that, people that have more experience are more promising.
Having a great interpersonal networking has greater chance of getting accepted in jobs. This is because when we have more people that we know and we are close with, it will be easier to find help in most aspect of our life, especially in job searching. For instance, having friends or family members that have a vital position in a company can accept us much easier than the other applicant, because our friends or family members already know more personal about us and had a great trust already.
Secondly, past work experience plays a crucial role in the performance of an individual. A person that have done multiple jobs or internships before, knows better about how to perform in a working environment. Although having a relevant job experience is usually prioritized, it is also important to have the skill to adapt in a new environment, to work under pressure, and to have a good communication as a team, which can be reflected from the past work experience of a person.
In conclusion, higher degree doesn’t guarantee a better job, because people networking and work experience in the past are more crucial.
