Band 4+: Historically, women have found it difficult to succeed in the business world. The best way to rectify this is to provide grants and interest-free loans to women who want to set up businesses. To what extent do you agree with this opinion?

Today’s era is an era of competition. It is quite challenging for people particularly women to become a successful entrepreneur. While some argue giving a privilege like capital assistance will bring them closer to reach their goal. I strongly believe that being sustain in the business field is not only about capital, but also other factors that will play a crucial role such as knowledge and the access for opportunity.

Firstly, establishing a successful business will require certain factors such as knowledge and networking that can play a pivotal role. Education will equipped women several skills such as managerial skill, critical thinking and good financial understanding. Therefore, those skill will help them to make a strategic decision and planning while growing their business. However, in some other region, women still suffered from getting higher degree in education. Providing women a wide access to the university will bring them in to right environment to develop their capability. By bringing them a decent education system, it also will help them to broaden their networking system by attending a lecturer, international conference and business expo that often held in the college and it will paves the way to communicate and share with many expert in this field.

Moreover, it is important to acknowledge that providing free loan to women potentially carry new problem to the society and government. Allocate budget as capital assistance will make government reduce budget from another sector. For instance, government have to cut budget for public transportation’s subsidy which benefit for many people to fund non-experienced women opening their business which only affect to one person. Furthermore, providing grant without any obligation to pay back will make them less responsible. To avoid this, creating more job opportunity for women is significantly needed. It can develop their work ethic, creativity and persistence in business sector and also will give them chance collecting their own capital.

In conclusion, providing capital assistance for women to strive forward in business field doesn’t significantly necessary. By prioritizing women get a better education and job opportunity will equip them with many skills that can be useful in the future.
